Mission 

Our mission is to provide expedited services to residents in crisis and to develop and administer services that help people become self sufficient and reach their maximum potential.

Description of Services 

We employ highly skilled Adult and Family Case Management staff with extensive knowledge of area resources. Norwich Human Services plays a leadership role on the local, regional, and state level in addressing the needs of our low-income residents and the city's homeless population. We provide occupational skills training and employment support services to Norwich's unskilled and/or underemployed workforce.

Assistance

Norwich Human Services provides assistance based upon the individualized needs of adults and families. Programs and services include but are not limited to:

  • Housing and Homelessness Services
  • Aid to relative guardians who have care of minor children
  • Case Management Services
  • Emergency Rent / Mortgage Assistance
  • Food Resources
  • Heat and Utility Assistance
  • Help with Department of Social Services Applications
  • Pharmacy Assistance
  • Relocation Assistance
  • A variety of other programs designed to improve the quality of life of our residents in need

  • Monday:  8:30a-11:30a
  • Wednesday: 10:30a-11:30a
  • Friday: 9:30a-11:30a
